A modern interior is defined by its consistency, clarity, and seamless transitions. In this project, Gestaltungswerk combined a seamless staircase with contiguous flooring to create an architectural experience without visual breaks.
The goal was to ensure that every surface flows naturally into the next – from the floor to the stair tread and up into the upper living spaces. This continuity enhances the perception of space and gives the entire room a harmonious and refined aesthetic.
The seamless finish was applied with absolute precision, paying close attention to every edge, angle, and junction. The result is a surface that feels uniform underfoot and visually unified from every perspective.
By eliminating visible joints and interruptions, the design appears elegant, cohesive, and timeless – characteristics that are especially important in modern interior concepts. Functional demands such as durability and slip resistance were also integrated into the planning and implementation.
This project shows how carefully executed seamless surfaces can transform architecture, turning functional elements into design components that reinforce the overall spatial narrative.
